A Few Words about Confidentiality

You should know that everything you choose to tell me will remain confidential. In only very exceptional cases would I
suggest the need to break confidentiality, and this would be discussed thoroughly with you beforehand. I work
closely with physicians, families and loved ones as needed, but only with your permission.


Here's How We Work Together to Bring You Lasting Relief

I primarily use principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT is the process of identifying and modifying irrational or unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours so that you can free your mind to make positive changes in your mood and your perception of self. It is highly researched and supported in the literature.

When you're able to break down the negative barriers in your life, you can make amazing strides toward your ability to cope positively with various events and people around you.

My methodology is Evidence Based Medicine (ie- there is substantial scientific research behind my methods). I do not prescribe medication.

I also want you to understand one important part of all this. You and I work TOGETHER, as a team, so that you will never again feel like you're in this alone.

My preferred mode of therapy is short and sharp. I do not want to waste your valuable time- so the faster you get on the road to recovery, the better.

And you can forget about stigma or shame, because believe me, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a person who wants to sort out their problems and learn ways to improve themselves so they can experience a happy life and the feeling of being in total control.
